Lady Vikings wins on senior night!!

After moving this Alleghany game less three times, the weather was great on senior day.
North Wilkes started off by calling the four seniors on the team. Then it was down to business with last home game of the season and maybe last time on the field.
Lady Vikings started off by scoring three run in the second inning with some fielding errors by Alleghany. Alleghany got on board with help with North's throwing error to make score 3-1 North.
North added insurance run in the fifth, while Alleghany put one more across the plate in seventh and end the game with Vikings win 4-2.
North Wilkes will end it's 2009 regular season game at Forbush on Friday. Lady Vikings will start it's MVAC Tournament next Monday on the road. |
