Ground Breaking- New Donation Information!!

North Wilkes High School cordially invites you to attend the ground breaking ceremonies for the Chris Thompson Memorial. Chris is a North High alumnus who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This memorial will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will be the construction of the "Thompson Station" concession stand. This facility is a much needed upgrade from our present facility. We will also construct the "Chris Doc Thompson Wall of Honor" that will recognize the heroics of Chris and others who have served our country.
This is a chance for North High to upgrade its facilities and also to recognize the fact that our county produces the heroes that make our country great. This will be a historic occasion and it will be an opportunity for the school and the community to recognize the great citizens that call North High home. Please join us for this uplifting and inspirational ceremony.
We will start with a reception in the senior cafeteria. It will begin a 6pm on November 7th. During the reception, there will be an opportunity for speakers to relate stories about Chris's experiences at North Highand his heroic duty while serving over seas. We will then proceed to the football field where the actual ground breaking ceremony will take place. North High looks forward to the honor of having you join us in this solemn but joyous event.

Our mission is to come together as a school and a community and honor those students who have willingly served our great country and honor the memory of those who have gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Your donations will be very significant in achieving the ultimate goal of erecting "Thompson Station" and "The Chris 'Doc' Thompson Wall of Honor".
The monies raised from the sales from the concession stand will continue to support North Wilkes student/athletes and assist in the upkeep of the athletic fields and facilities.
We are asking for a donation of $100.00 for each name that will be engraved on the Wall of Honor.
